We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and systems through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC, and will demonstrate leadership qualities to mentor junior technicians. 
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, motors, pumps, and hydraulic systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including circuit boards, control systems, and wiring. 
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance, including alignment, lubrication, and replacement of components. 
  • Install/supply power runs for 220/480/600 volt to industrial equipment. 
  • Oversee and perform plumbing repairs, including installation and maintenance of piping systems. 
  • Lead maintenance projects and initiatives, providing guidance and support to junior technicians. 
  • Document maintenance activities, maintain accurate records, and assist in developing maintenance schedules. 
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team. 
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices. 
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. 
  • Proficient in multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. 
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting. 
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts as needed. 
 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks. 
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
