The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, strong content creation skills, and the ability to analyze and report on social media performance. This position is based at our LaVergne, TN office and requires a hybrid work arrangement, with both onsite and remote work expected.

Key Responsibilities: 

Social Media Strategy: 
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing objectives. Identify key trends and opportunities to enhance the company’s social media presence.

Content Creation and Management: 
Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics. Manage and schedule posts across various social media platforms using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social. 

Community Engagement:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. ​​​Foster a positive and engaging community by encouraging user-generated content and interactions. 

Campaign Management: 
Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and product launches. Manage all social advertising campaigns across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and others as needed. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all campaigns.

Analytics and Reporting: 
Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools such as LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite. Prepare regular reports on social media metrics and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and reach.

Brand Consistency: 
Ensure all social media content is consistent with the company’s brand guidelines and tone of voice. Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and on-brand social media assets.

Staying Current: 
Stay informed on the latest social media trends, best practices, and tools. Propose innovative strategies to leverage social media to achieve marketing objectives.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management or a related role. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns. 
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social). 
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in the automotive or related industry is a plus but not required.
